Description

The annual High School Rec basketball League that collects teams from all over high schools in Stark County. Up to 10 person teams register for a chance to win the championship tournament at the end of the season. Two leagues split by grade levels. Teams compete in weekly games with online standings and team records.  OHSAA game play with the classic basketball gym experience.

Requirements

  • Games are held on weekday evenings, with start times as early as 4 pm. End times as late as 9 pm.
  • Modified OHSAA Game Play.
  • Teams of up to 10 players. Bring Your Own Team or Individual registration available.
  • Jerseys are included.
  • Players must play in 50% or more of regular season games to be eligible for tournament.
  • 7 regular season games & single elimination tournament.
  • Team Managers for team required: 9/10 grade must have manager 21+ or assigned volunteer. 11/12 grade team manager must be 18+.

Important Dates to Remember:

  • Final Registrations & Rosters Due:  November 28th  

  • Schedule Release Date: Friday December 5th  

  • Mandatory Coaches Meeting: Saturday December 6th  

  • First Games: Week of December 9th  

  • Christmas Break Games: December 23rd , 27th and/or 30th 

  • Tournaments Begin: Week of January 26th
